Paediatric First Aid
The 2 Day Paediatric first aid course is the benchmark qualification for individuals working with infants and young people in the UK.
This 12 hour course meets Ofsted Requirements & Ofsted Early Years Requirements and is tailored to provide paediatric lifesaving skills and paediatric incident management.
Practical face to face training specifically designed to build confidence for any scenario.
This course is suitable for primary and nursery schoolteachers, childminders and child carers, as well as parents and grandparents.
It is now a requirement of Health & Safety law that all employers provide first aid cover if working with infants and young children. The most appropriate course will be determined through your own risk assessment of your working environment.
This first aid course has been designed for people working with children and infants. It will be particularly relevant for teachers, child minders, crèche and playgroup assistants and anyone else who has a responsibility for children’s welfare.
The 2 Day Paediatric first aid syllabus covers a broad set of scenarios and skills and will give you the confidence to deal with emergency first aid situations. All of our courses are very practical, and we use scenario training to reinforce learning. We also look at incidents that could occur when taking children on outings away from the work environment.
This first aid course will provide you with a nationally recognised First Aid Award that will be valid for 3 years from the date you train.
Our 2-day course meets the requirements and criteria as detailed by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted.
All our instructors are highly trained and experienced with real life emergencies and they bring this knowledge to their courses.
